We received word from the state today that we are able to have the shoot!
So string up your bows and load up the car for some fun!
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Please review the previous post about some of the changes to be expected, in particular, no vendors, no camping, no food.
Hello Fellow Archers!
Wanted to give an update.
Our plan is to present to you the annual Whittingham Traditional 3D
Archery Rendezvous in April 2021. We are in the process of finalizing a plan
with the State of New Jersey that meets all of the current COVID protocols to
have an outdoor event on State property.
We hope to have an answer in the very near future. We hope you understand and bear with us.
If we are able to move forward and receive the permit to
have the Shoot there will be changes from previous years because of current
restrictions. I would like to list them below:
Sorry but there will be no camping at this
year’s shoot. Camping is currently not
allowed on any state property.
The shoot will be 2 days instead of the
historical 3. The dates will be Saturday
April 17th & Sunday April 18th.
No onsite food vendor, so please plan on packing
No vendor area as we will have to limit the
number of people in any area.
If we are able to have any novelty shoots and
shots they will be limited in nature.
What we will work very hard to do is set up our 2 very
challenging 20 target courses as well as the Muzzy Range. Our plan is for the
shoot to be bare bones but still fun and challenging as always!
We do hope you understand as we are still operating with
COVID conditions and limitations. Let’s
all hope this ends soon and by next year we are back to normal.
Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We will update you in the very near future. We look forward to hopefully seeing you on APRIL 17th & 18th!
